Yes, and we price delivery at £1 per mile. Don't forget to include your venue postcode in your inquiry if you'd like a delivery quote.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?

A rough price guideline can be found right here, though you'll need to get in touch for a more personalised quote as all cakes are priced individually.

DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

 

A retainer deposit of £40 is required for celebration cakes and £80 for wedding cakes. The deposit will secure your commission in my diary and is credited to the total order cost. Please note that your deposit is non-refundable and that a booking is not 'booked' until I've received it..

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ORDER?

 

Honestly, it's never too soon to book your cake. I take on a limited number of cakes per month and can tend to book up quickly over more popular dates. I'd recommend asking for celebration cakes at least 4 weeks in advance and ideally a minimum of 3 months for wedding cakes.. Some dates are far more popular than others though so it's always worth asking.

HOW DO I ORDER?

​

The first step in ordering a cake is to contact me, either via my Facebook page or my contact page, with your occasion date (and venue, if applicable). If I have availability then you can secure your booking by paying your deposit. Next you'll need to start thinking about possible themes, colours and designs that you might like, and start collecting stationery samples, fabric swatches, magazine clippings or anything else that inspires you. Don't worry if you're not sure what you want yet as there's no pressure to commit to a design until 2-4 weeks before your date.

HOW BIG DOES MY CAKE NEED TO BE?

 

Knowing how many people you're hoping to serve is a good start. Once you know how many servings you need from a cake, you can take a little look at my portions guide to give you an idea of the size you might be looking at. I suggest slightly under-catering rather than over-catering for your numbers because it never looks great if there's heaps left over.

WILL YOU DECORATE A CAKE THAT I'VE BAKED MYSELF?

​

I'm afraid not. I do make cake toppers to order though, with the most popular being bride and groom figures. The minimum order value for any topper is £50 and please note that I won't risk sending them via mail.
